The friday of student being. I’m happily left from my rent apartment for the evening train that runs to parents home. Gloomy, a little bit drizzle by the way it doesn’t even smell of the morning sunshine. It takes 5 minutes, 2 traffic lights, and I’m at the suburban train station near to ticket office. He arrives one, two, ..ten carriages. Great, definetly nobody won’t have to stand. It’s a rare case, actually arrives few carriages, within not enough space for students who go home. I had waited patiently for full stop. The huge passengers wave pushing everything on his way.. Unfortunetly, I have noticed that one man was badly, perhaps a hurt attack or something worse. The wave is still pushing the doors, they don’t see anything else.
However, two or three men stopped and focused on ill man, gave him some help. I stay stunning and don’t know what to do (run to the train or suggest them some help). One lady gives him some pills, another one, as I think, trying to call to ambulance. In a result I’m just going to the train..Perhaps, I should call the station personal or just ask them “ Do you need my help or What do you need”. My consciousness dictates “ Ouu, keep calm and ride to home, these strangers will help him” but if not ? Now I consider it was a mistake to just going away.
It would be right just to ask do they need my help. This was indifference or fear? Apparently both. In vocabulary you can find an antonym to the word ‘love’ and is not ‘hate’, but ‘indifference’.
We often forget that indifference is also a sin. We fight against crime, but forget about indifference, we are not scary to say about someone bad manners, but scared to ask “Do you need my help or What’s wrong, could I help you”. I consider that we need banners without ads of products but with life advices, for example “Don’t be indifferent to … “ and many many words around this (nature, strangers, friends, family, etc). Every morning we continue our live and we must get better for our future, for future of our kids,their children and so on. Otherwise, none of new technologies have a value, if we cannot upgrade our humanity. I’m writing that to show importance of being a less indifferent to others.
